WITH the last kick of the match, Billy Twelvetrees held his nerve to fire over the matchwinner and prevent Irish from ending their losing run.
The visitors looked set for victory but conceded two penalties in quick succession, the second for dragging down a lineout drive, and up stepped Twelvetrees to knock over a 40m kick.
Irish have now lost six games in succession and they will rue their inability to close out the game after Paddy Jackson’s penalty had put them in front with only six minutes remaining.
