Denny Solomona has talks with Bristol Bears boss Lam

DENNY SOLOMONA has spoken to Bristol Bears about a switch to Ashton Gate next season and is now weighing up what he wants to do next.
The England winger is due to be under contract at Sale next season, but the Sharks have allowed him to speak to the Bears boss, his fellow Auckland native, Pat Lam.
Solomona, 27, switched codes to join the Sharks five years ago from Super League side Castleford Tigers.
He signed a four-year contract extension with the Sharks in February 2018 but has made only six appearances this season.
He has scored 47 tries in 92 appearances in all competitions for the club, but his only score this season came against Edinburgh in December.
Lam has made only one new signing for next season in the shape of highly-rated Saracens scrum-half Tom Whiteley, after failing to lure centre Mark Atkinson away from Gloucester.
Solomona, who won the last of his seven England caps in South Africa almost three years ago, could kick-start his flagging career with a move away from the AJ Bell Stadium.
Meanwhile, it is understoods that prop Jake Cooper-Woolley has left the Sharks two years after signing from Wasps, and is looking for a new club.
Former England Saxon Cooper-Woolley, 31, who started his career at Cardiff Blues before six seasons at Wasps, has made seven appearances for Sale this season.
He made his last appearance off the bench against Worcester in January, taking his total to 36, in which he scored two tries.
