NGANI LAUMAPE ran riot to make a huge claim on the All Blacks 12 jersey, as his scintillating performance led the Hurricanes to a 41-22 win over the Highlanders in their final match of the campaign.
The in-form centre ran for 134 metres, produced four clean breaks, one try and one assist in a performance that would have impressed the selectors.
Hurricanes scored the opening try on Friday night as Tom Flanders finished a backline move.
Josh Dixon went over for the Highlanders to restore their early lead and they went further in front through Jona Nareki’s try, his fifth of the season.
