SRU suspend several members of U20 backroom staff after late-night fracas

The Scottish Rugby Union has launched an internal investigation into an incident at a Llandudno bar less than 48 hours before their Under-20 side's Six Nations opener against Wales earlier this month.
A disagreement was sparked between members of the backroom staff, not including head coach Stevie Scott or any players, and another group in the bar which led to the team's physio requiring hospital treatment.
It has been reported that assistant coaches Ben Fisher Nikki Walker and team manger Andy Miller are suspended and will be interviewed over the incident that took place on Thursday 1 February.
An SRU statement confirmed: “Scottish Rugby is currently conducting an internal disciplinary process involving members of the Scotland U20s coaching team and backroom staff. The group are suspended until the disciplinary process has concluded and in the interim their roles will be taken on by appropriate staff. Scottish Rugby will make no further comment at this time.”
It is understood the Union is satisfied their employees were not the aggressors in the incident after police arrested a local man.
The young Scots suffered a 36-3 defeat at Parc Eirias after a five-try display by Jason Strange's side and went on to lost 19-69 on home turf to France last Friday.
