Fiji and Canada to prepare for World Cup in Stoop clash

Fiji and Canada will play in a World Cup warm-up match at the Stoop on September 6 it was announced today.

Fiji Head Coach John McKee commented: “This match is very important in our build up to the Rugby World Cup and the opening match against England. It provides a great opportunity for our UK supporters to see the Flying Fijians in action in full Test match mode.”

“The Flying Fijians squad will have been together since July 1st and will have a Pacific Nations Cup campaign and re-conditioning Camp in Fiji behind them. This match will put the final touches on our preparation before entering our World Cup team base.”
