The , and former centre chooses the best XV he has played with or against

1. Pierre Schoeman – Just a freak of a human being, so strong in attack and defence, I'm glad I don't have to play against him. He's also one of the most down-to-earth and caring guys off the pitch. And the hair, just wow!

2. Stu McInally ‘Rambo' is one of the best hookers in the loose, and leads from the front on and off the field. He's like the father figure at Edinburgh. When it comes to golf he talks a big game but can't sink an important putt to save his life.

3. Will Collier The greatest of roommates in Bermuda, Col is one of the most underrated props. I don't know a lot about scrummaging but he's one of the best (I've heard).

4. James Horwill – Had an unbelievable playing career; a great leader and would be the first to back up a teammate. Still waiting for my invite to Oz!

5. Matt Symons Probably the best lock to never play internationally. He's the type of player you'd want in your corner.

6. Semi Kunatani One of the most talented, skilful and laidback players I've ever played with. Rugby was made to look easy with Semi.

7. Hamish Watson One of the best opensides in the world for a number of years now, and a great gamer too. We hang out loads now I'm in Edinburgh.

8. Bill Mata – Icould watch a highlight reel of Bill's offloads all day (and have). Such a skilful player who can make something out of nothing. Just a ridiculous No.8!

9. Danny Care Class act on and off the pitch, he's had an unbelievable career and seems to be getting better with age.

10. Marcus Smith I've been lucky to play with some world-class 10s, but Marcus just takes it. On his day, he's unplayable. Since his first season at 18 years old he's dominated, and he's still improving which is scary.

11. Damian Hoyland Class act across the back three, he dominates in attack and defence plus he looks great in short shorts. He spends a lot of time on the golf course and swears he's a 16-handicapper … I'm not convinced.

12. Andre Esterhuizen One of the biggest humans I've come across, and arguably the best centre in the world last year. I was going to put myself at 12 but history showed at Quins that if Andre was available, I'd be 23.

13. Joe Marchant He's my best mate but he's also undoubtably a world-class player, and a freak athlete. Some of the things he can do baffle me. It always made my life easier with him outside me. He also plays the guitar, so the full package really.

14. Darcy Graham The most elusive player I've played with. Ridiculous feet and speed and is one of the best wingers in the world right now, and he's still young which is scary.

15. Mike Brown 's most decorated full-back for a reason. An unbelievable competitor and world class player still!
