Mitch Eadie, the Hartpury and Former and Back Row, chooses the best XV he has played with and against

1. Ellis Genge – Bristol, born and bred. A very aggressive presence and a huge leader on the pitch. We came up through the academy together and it is great to see him back in a Bristol shirt.

2. Schalk Brits Inever had the pleasure of playing with him, only against, but you couldn't help but admire him. Insane rugby ability, such a skilful operator with a natural ability to beat defenders.

3. John Afoa Can do pretty much anything on the rugby field and a top guy off it too! Whether it's running down the tunnel doing the Superman pose or the nutmeg he did on Jackson Wray, he always raises a smile.

4. I've got one word for him – nuisance! Every single time you have the ball, he always seems to be there making your life difficult.

5. Joe Joyce King of the ‘Mead! Born and bred Bristol boy that will graft for 80 minutes! Loves a boggy pitch.

6. Courtney Lawes Abig hitter and another superb leader. Gets through so much work! Also the most chilled-out guy you could wish meet, he brings a real calmness to the group.

7. Justin Tipuric His skillset is mad – he can kick, pass and run as well as jackaling and everything else a world-class even can do. He's like a back in a forward's body.

8. Sam Simmonds Unlucky not to have had more caps but the competition in the back row is unreal. His explosive power and low centre of gravity make him hard to stop. Wins the gain line pretty much every time.

9. Cobus Reinach – One super-fast human! Reads the game so well and picks off intercepts better than anyone. A good guy to be around.

10. Dan Biggar Anatural-born leader and very, very committed. One of the nicest guys I've met and a great team man.

11. Luke Morahan They call him ‘The Wizard' at Bristol. When he gets the ball it looks effortless. He just glides over the ground and past defenders.

12. Semi Radradra Powerful, explosive, puts in massive hits and has superb hands.

13. Siale Piutau Such a good team man who leads by example. Hard hitter and strong carrier makes him a real force in defence and attack.

14. David Lemi One of Bristol's best, a real club legend. Great burst of pace, could step you in a phone box and is also a great guy.

15. Max Malins With the news he is going back to Bristol you could say his loan deal two seasons ago was kind of a case of ‘try before you buy!' Has every skill you'd want from a back – he can finish, kick, distribute, pass and run – and can play in virtually every position in the backline.
