and centre Cam Redpath, below, could be heading across the border next summer after emerging as a target for the Scottish Rugby Union.

Redpath, 23, who was born in Narbonne when his Scotland international father, Bryan, played in , is a player that SRU bosses would dearly love to place with either or .

The product of academy broke into the first team before moving to Bath three years ago and has flourished since Johann van Graan moved into the hot seat at The Rec.

The inside centre can also play outside centre, fly-half and full-back and is closing in on 50 appearances for Bath, which could come when Chiefs visit The Rec next weekend.

He played for U18 and U20 before switching to play for Scotland, who have capped him nine times, including twice at the recent .
