Racing 92 will fight any attempts by Gloucester and Bath to lure England international Henry Arundell back to the Premiership after the first year of his contract in the French capital.

Arundell is under contract to Racing until 2025 but has an escape clause at the end of the first season, which hasn’t gone unnoticed by the recruitment teams at either of the West Country sides.

The England wing left London Irish when they went out of business at the end of last season and will be able to command bigger wages in France if he spends three years in the country becoming JIFF...
