Former Bristol Bears fly-half Ian Madigan is starting a coaching career at his former club, Blackrock College, after announcing his retirement after failing to recover from a long-term leg injury.
Madigan, 34, who spent three years playing for The Bears until leaving for Ulster in 2020 last week confirmed that he was hanging up his boots with immediate effect.

The former Ireland star, above, picked up two Six Nations winner’s medals and won two European Champions Cups, two PRO12 titles, and a European Challenge Cup in seven seasons with Leinster.
