Gustard tops Bath defensive wish list

BATH are looking for a new defensive coach and have put former Harlequins boss and England defensive guru Paul Gustard at the top of their wanted list.
The ex-London Irish, Leicester Tigers and Saracens flanker, 45, moved to Italy at the start of this season after signing a three-year contract with Benetton Rugby.
Bath have lost all seven of their Premiership games this sea son , conceding 2 34 points, then shipped another 7 1 in the Premiership Cup hammering at Gloucester on Friday night.
Edward Griffiths, above, is conducting a review of their coaching staff and is interested in speaking to Gustard about taking up a role at The Rec.
Griffiths is due to be at The Rec for the next couple of weeks but could be asked to remain at the club longer to oversee any overhaul that his report recommends.
