Stuart Lancaster confirms job target

Stuart Lancaster wants to coach in the Southern Hemisphere to prove English coaches are “good enough to work there”.
The former England boss has nothing concrete in the pipeline despite being linked to the Queensland Reds job. But the 46-year-old, is keen now to take over a top coaching role again after a break from the game.
Lancaster told TRP: “I definitely have a lot of coaching left in me and I want to do a lot more in the future.
“The challenge of coaching overseas is a big one as well, and I'd love to get the opportunity to coach over in the Southern Hemisphere.
“It would be fantastic to broaden my experiences and to also show that Northern Hemisphere coaches can coach very well. Right now, there's nothing concrete but who knows what may happen.”
Lancaster admits he was badly affected by his Red Rose departure from following the World Cup failure.
He said: “Eddie and I met three of four weeks after he was appointed and I passed on as much knowledge of my time in charge as I could. It's tough when you are in that position but I still want England to be successful.
“Whether I was going to be there or not I always thought the team would hit its peak between 2015 and 2019. And I think the squad is in a good place.”
