ENGLAND may have taken the long route round to qualifying for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, but they remain on course after easing through to the quarter-finals in Colomiers.
Great Britain won the silver medal at the Rio Olympics three years ago, but as Team GB’s nominated country for the qualifying campaign, England’s fifth-place overall finish in this year’s World Rugby Sevens Series saw them just miss out on clinching an automatic spot.
