No-play decision smacks of defeatism

THE Friday evening before the final round of the Six Nations was an opportune moment for the RFU to bury the bad news that it had decided to cancel all adult competitive leagues in England below the Championship for the 2020-21 season.
The notification was put on the England Rugby website without a Press release advising the media of the decision, or a Press conference to answer any questions regarding a move of such magnitude.
