Debutant Holly fills Scarratt void in midfield

HOLLY Aitchison has big boots to fill today as she makes her England debut in place of injured star Emily Scarratt's at outside centre against the world champion Black Ferns.

player Aitchison, – part of Team GB at Tokyo 2020 – is given the daunting task of replacing England's marquee player Scarratt who broke her leg in September.

England head coach Simon Middleton said: “Holly has probably been our best trainer this week. She's a really good talent, probably one of the young starlets, but has had a lot of injuries.

“The sevens series did her a power of good and she has played fantastically well at .”
