World Rugby, having acted swiftly to punish Rassie Erasmus for his latest video refereeing rant, the governing body must surely be examining another disturbing trend from the same France-South Africa match in Marseille.
On at least three occasions the admirable Wayne Barnes raised the issue of Springbok players ‘shouting’ at him with the team leadership, first with Siya Kolisi, later after his substitution with acting captain Eben Etzebeth.
