Eight teams get set for second tier tournament

Next month sees the U20s World Trophy return with the second tier age group tournament this time involving , who were relegated from the World in 2019.

The second-level competition eight teams split into two pools of four.

Pool A comprises of Scotland, United States, Uruguay and Zimbabwe, with Pool B teams being Hong Kong, hosts Kenya, and Spain.

Promotion and relegation between the Trophy and the Championship is still in place. The winner of the Trophy will play in next year's Championship, while the last placed team at the Championship will be relegated to the Trophy for next year's tournament. The tournament kicks off on Saturday, July 15 with Scotland playing Zimbabwe and the final takes place on Sunday, July 30 and features the two winners of each pool.
