The Drovers had to fight hard to resist the firmest of challenges from an Aberavon side that beat them 24-15 last month.
The league leaders outscored Aberavon seven tries to five and, in doing so, all but assured themselves of a home draw in the play-offs on 14 May.
Llandovery were soon ahead when a closerange scrum made room for wing Rhodri Wall to squeeze over. Aberavon hit back when a kick ahead from scrum-half Iwan Temblett was seized upon by fullback Steff Andrews for a try.
A Maynard penalty made it 10-7 before centre Rhodri Jones crossed. A driving line out then gave home hooker Ieuan Davies the chance to touch down.
No.8 Ashton Evans laid the foundations for the third Aberavon try from Joe Thomas but the Drovers went back ahead with a second Jones effort.
Warren clinched a bonus point with a try at the Aberavon posts, but back came the Wizards with a penalty try at the maul, Llandovery's Llyr Green yellow carded for pulling it down. Fly-half Ioan Hughes and Warren then grabbed opportunist tries to make it 41-26.
Ieaun Davies burrowed over to bring it back to 41-31 but the last word went to Llandovery replacement Lloyd Pike.
