A LATE Evan Roos try helped seal a hard-fought win over . Nick Timoney's converted score gave Ulster a 7-0 half-time lead but the hosts fought back with a Manie Libbok penalty and Roos' try. Libbok added the extras and a late penalty as Stormers maintained their unbeaten home record.

Ulster left with a losing bonus point to remain in the final playoff position in eighth.

Ulster got off to a great start with Timoney finding a gap in the defence to race in from 25m, with John Cooney adding the extras.

Libbok was off target with two penalty attempts, and Cooney also missed two – a close-range effort hit the post and another kick from 45 metres.

Stormers went close early in the second half from a lineout drive which ended with Roos being turned over. Roos again went close but knocked on short of the line before Libbok kicked a penalty on 54 minutes.

With seven minutes remaining, Roos touched down from a driving lineout maul to seal the win.
