have launched a bid to take forwards coach John Muldoon back to Galway, where he made over 300 appearances as a player under Bears boss .

Muldoon, who won three caps for , joined the Bristol staff as a defensive coach in 2018 before stepping up to take charge of the forwards in July 2020.

Pete Wilkins has penned a three-year deal to become Connacht head coach this summer, and he wants Muldoon in his set-up.
