Chinnor's resurgence continued as they recorded a third straight bonus-point win to climb 12 points clear of the drop zone.

Tries from Jason Worrall, with two, Reece Marshall, Will Blakemore, Tom Price and Willie Ryan helped the Oxfordshire side convincingly beat the second-bottom Leeds.

It was a crucial victory for Chinnor, while Tykes find themselves 14 points adrift with five matches to go.

The home side made a fast start, leading 14-0 after eight minutes with Marshall and Blakemore touching down – Price adding the extras. Apart from one yellow card apiece, the rest of the first period was pretty uneventful, but when Leeds had a second player sent to the sin-bin, Chinnor made the most of the extra man to make it 21-0 at the break as Worrall dived over out wide.

John Okafor's interception try got Leeds off the mark after 50 minutes, but Price charged down a kick and dotted down a fourth try for the home side.

Tykes reduced the arrears to 28-17 after 64 minutes thanks to scores from Matt Burke and Charlie Venables.

Chinnor regained control with Ryan driving over and Worrall intercepted a pass to stroll in for the sixth try.
