Cinderford suffered their second home defeat in a row to Esher.

Mason Tonks was shown a red in the 33rd minute for a punch.

Cinderford started the brightest through captain Harry Hone, breaking off a maul for his first try early on.

Mike Wilcox converted, much like he did for every kick he took.

The visitors punched back with a break from Daniel Rowland, before Pierre Thompson offloaded it to Luke Peters.

Esher's second-row Adam Bullett then got over after some careless kicking. Sam Morley made the score 7-12.

Cinderford's George Boulton pounced on a scrum for his first score.

An almost identical line from Boulton extended the score to 19-12.

Pierre Thompson found a gap and chipped it through for Morley to score and convert. Hone bagged a second in similar fashion to his first.

Esher's Bullett came flying out the blocks after the break with a charge-down try and Morley converted, 28-26.

Mike Austin then danced his way over and added the extras for his score, 35-26.

Esher flanker Harvey Scott closed the gap to just two, before Rowland got over for the visitors and extended their lead to 35-40. Sam Bullock put the game to bed for the final score, 35-47.
