THE SUN may have shone briefly at Scotland Lane, but as it sank so did the hopes of Old Redcliffians as they fell to Westcliff A surging start from the home side saw them 14 points clear as a combination of Matt Baker scoring two and Ashley Groves converting gave the home crowd hope.
Westcliff, however, had other thoughts, driving and driving again they started punching holes in Red’s defence and pegged back seven points through No.8 Jim Smith converted by outside half Jack Jones....
