LEICESTER LIONS toasted victory over their near-table rivals as they outplayed Clifton to win 39-13 on the road.
The visitors were practically error-free and made use of quick handling to open up a comfortable half-time lead that they would build on after the break.
Ben Young in particular at fly-half kicked cleverly in a testing wind and made some elusive breaks.
But it was Clifton who took an early lead through a Brad Barnes penalty which was soon cancelled out by a Young response before Barnes kicked another.
