CINDERFORD edged a close encounter that featured more action in the last ten minutes than the rest of the game.
Both sides cancelled each other out early on, but the Cinderford forwards were laying the foundations for victory.
Hawks tried to play a more expansive game but often lacked penetration.
James Moffat opened the scoring for Cinderford with a penalty.
Henley pressure then led to George Jackson levelling with a penalty.
