Otley got their seventh consecutive win when they defeated Sheffield.

The hosts opened the scoring with an Elliot Fisher penalty. But from the restart Otley progressed up the field with Brandon Staples going over three minutes later for an unconverted try.

Otley began to dominate the game and Gavin Stead extended his side's lead with a penalty just before the end of the first quarter.

Shortly afterwards, Eddie Crossland crashed over to the left of the posts.

The remainder of the half was mainly played in Sheffield's half, although the visitors came close to Otley's line.

Early in the second half, Sheffield made Otley work for every inch over two attacks and eventually got a penalty.

However, Otley stole the ball and then Crossland kicked a 50:22.

From the line-out, Otley quickly passed the ball across the pitch, with Eliot Morgan scoring in the corner, converted by Callum Irvine.

It took Otley 20 minutes to score again, electing for a scrum close to Sheffield's line after the visitors impinged. From there they moved the ball left with Morgan getting his second. Sheffield nearly scored under the posts at the death but for a forward pass.
