BURY grabbed a halfcentury of points to beat the Raiders.

The hosts took the lead when Matt Bursey made a huge break tp set up George Loose to score, Ben Penfold converted.

Loose then returned the compliment to put his skipper Bursey over, before Kodie Drury-Hawkins added a third converted try.

Raiders hit back with a deserved try by Callum Roberts, and Ciaran McGann converted.

Star man Will Christie scored next for Bury and Penfold converted.

Guernsey hit back with a McGann try to make it Bury 28-12 at the break.

The second half started in lively fashion with Archie Bourne scoring for Bury, and substitute Callum Hall converting.

Bursey then scoredhis second try, before Carter Hackett responded.

Christie replied immediately for Bury and Hall converted.

In the closing stages, housewives favourite Will Affleck scored on his 150th cap, and Bursey converted to complete the scoring.

Bury will be pleased to end their home campaign on such a positive note and reward their faithful fans with a clinical and, for the most part, a disciplined performance.
