Dorking recovered from a 10-0 half-time deficit to beat Canterbury in a close encounter.

The home side went ahead when Frank Morgan profited from the fast hands of Tyler Oliver to skirt round the defence. Frank Reynolds conversion was then cruelly denied by a post.

Good Dorking defence meant Canterbury were left scoreless for just over 20 minutes before another wide attack saw Frank Morgan in at the corner.

Again Reynolds was wayward off the tee in difficult conditions.

Coming out after the interval, Canterbury had a siege mentality, looking happy to defend as Dorking used the slope and conditions to good effect.

This mentality didn't hold Dorking out for long with a frytryfor Finn Osborne off the base of the scrum. Henry Anscombe missed with the extras from a similar position to Reynolds in the first half. The wind wreaking havoc with both kickers' radars.

A last-minute scrum call saw Dorking tap and go. The subsequent phases led to replacement James Catton crash over to draw the sides level.

This time fly-half Anscombe did the extras just as the clock went red.
