hooker Jamie George, returning to action after the , said he hopes win over made under-fire owner Nigel Wray proud after the controversy and points docking.

“It's hit us pretty hard and we feel emotionally for people like Nigel Wray, he's one of the best blokes you will ever meet. Hopefully today we made him proud.

“The way we are going to get through this is by being even tighter, that's the reason why we have been so successful the last few years. We've got such a good group and such a good culture.

That is what will get us out of this situation.

“I've been desperate to get back. You hear a lot of the talk and its frustrating, but I came back in on Tuesday and the spirits were high.

“It's great to have the group back together and we build from here. We know we have a tough road ahead.”

Ospreys coach Allen Clarke: “There's undoubtedly a bit of self-belief missing at the moment, based on the run we've been on.

“There's no lack of desire or effort but when you're chasing a confidence- boosting win this is a tough place to come.

“We picked up another couple of injuries, Tom Botha (ankle) and Brad Davies (arm), which adds to the perfect storm we're in at the moment.”
