Santi Socino is back in the Premiership with Gloucester

FORMER hooker Santiago Socino is set to return to the after agreeing to join .

The international, 28, returned home in 2018 to join side Jaguares after a four-year stint in the North-East.

The brother of centre Juan Pablo, who started his career with and has two Test caps, is set to move to Kingsholm for the rest of the season.

He has agreed a contract that will see him stay in the West Country next season as well.

Socino was most recently a part of Argentina's squad for 2020 Tri-Nations, won by the , and featured in the second clash against on November 28.

His arrival at Gloucester continues the gutting of Jaguares, as Super Rugby gears towards a merge of the Aotearoa and AU competitions that took place last summer.
