Millard sings praises of returning stars Marcus and Danny

director of rugby Billy Millard hailed the way Marcus Smith and got back into the old routine after the .

But Millard revealed his heart rate could have done without the comeback which threatened to derail his side.

He said: “You can't underestimate how hard it is, even though they know the club and love the club. Marcus and Danny really drove things, spoke in meetings and the big boys up the front made their job easier. Marcus was doing what Marcus does and Danny was immense again, his kicking was outstanding. It was pretty stressful up there and one you need to have a look at and have a chat with the boys to take learnings into next week.”

boss Johann van Graan was proud of his side's refusal to lie down, even when they were getting run ragged in the first 50 minutes.

He said: “We were not good enough in the first 40 and the starting team did not deliver today but at half-time we said we are tough to beat and it is never done until it is done. Quins had momentum and their kicking game was incredible but we came back with 33 unanswered points. I will take the two points.”
