Urasayu D-Rocks have emerged as favourites to sign No.8 Jasper Wiese when he leaves Welford Road at the end of the season.

Tigers thought they had retained winner Wiese, above, a key member of their 2022 title-winning side, after he rejected a move to , only for him to get a huge offer to move to .

Suntory Sungoliath and Kobe Steelers got mentioned as possible destinations for the 28-year-old but D-Rocks, bidding for promotion from Japan's Division Two under former boss Johan Ackermann, are in pole position.
