ALFIE Barbeary will find out today if he faces three months out of action when he goes under the surgeon’s knife for an ankle injury.
The 20-year-old Wasps back row/hooker, who has scored eight tries in his last 12 appearances, will be out for at least six weeks, but it could be as many as 12 depending on what damage is found.
Barbeary looked likely to be included in Eddie Jones’ Six Nations squad until he was injured playing against Sale Sharks at the AJ Bell Stadium last weekend.
