EVERYONE knows I had the chance to join Toulon from the Ospreys towards the end of my career.
I never did play in France, but there is no doubt they are a country on the up which is why I’m looking forward to hopefully being a part of Premier Sports’ UK coverage of the Top 14.
The only problem I might have is I didn’t do French at school.
It was German for me which hasn’t proved much use to my broadcasting career!
We saw in this season’s Champions Cup final that French rugby is a fearsome beast. La Rochelle and Toulouse both being in the final showed the Top 14 teams are the ones to beat. We...
