RUGBY, like all professional sport, can be ruthless. At the end of the day, it is just a business and the people making the decisions at the top of it – chairmen, chief executives and head coaches – have to make tough calls.
There is no room for emotion. We have seen that at the Ospreys with their decision to release Scott Williams –a world-class player who has 58 Wales caps and has captained his country.
In his prime and without injuries, Scott was the next big thing. I was in the Wales squad and coming to the end of my career when he first came into the environment in 2011.
