American international signs for London Scottish

have added international quality to their front-row after completing the signing of American tighthead Dino Waldren.
Waldren has earned seven caps for the US Eagles after making his debut against Romania in November 2016. His last appearance for the Americans was against Canada in July, where he came up against fellow London Scot Kyle Baillie.
The 26-year-old has spent time playing in Europe before, featuring for Blackrock College in Dublin where he gained plenty of experience.
He said: “I'm very excited to be playing rugby in the country where it all started. The amount of history and rugby talent in and across the UK is breathtaking, coming from the States. I am just grateful for the opportunity and excited for what is to come.”
Director of Rugby Dave Morris commented: “We are delighted to welcome Dino to the London Scottish family. Speaking to Dino I liked his thirst for knowledge to be the best he can be.
“It was also obvious that the values of rugby have had a big impact on his life to date. He is a powerful and athletic player who will add great competition at tight-head.”
