Tait one of four to pen new Leicester deal

Mathew Tait, Harry Thacker, Harry Wells and Michele Rizzo have all extended their contracts to stay at Welford road.
Tait captained the Tigers, who recently sacked boss Richard Cockerill, to Anglo-Welsh Cup glory two weeks ago for what was their first silverware in four years.
The former outside back recently passed 100 appearances for the club since his Tigers debut in 2011. He has been a real workhorse for Leicester and if you're interested in horse racing as well as rugby, you'll want to know who to look out for in the biggest race of the year. Who are the Grand National runners for 2017?
He said: “I've thoroughly enjoyed my time here, Tigers is a massive club and playing in big games is one of the main reasons you want to be here. I'm very glad to be doing that.”
Assistant coach Geordan Murphy, who made more than 300 appearances in 16 seasons in the Tigers backline, said: “We're delighted Mat has agreed to new contract terms. He has been in good form for us and he offers a great deal of experience and versatility in the squad. He understands the game very well and he is a good man to have in the camp.”
Leicester-born Thacker who is a Tigers academy graduate and two-time winner of the club's Young Player of the Year award, is the son of former Tigers hooker Troy Thacker.
The 23-year-old said: “I always wanted to play for my hometown club and I obviously have family ties with the Tigers. It's great to be able to continue to do that and wear the Tigers shirt.”
