Bath hooker Dunn signs new long-term deal

Tom Dunn has signed a new long-term contract extension with .
Bath-born hooker Dunn, 23, made the transition from Academy to Senior Squad in 2015. He started his career with the Club as a University Scholar whilst studying at the University of Bath.
Making the switch from prop to the middle of the front row to make his debut as a substitute against Calvisano in December 2012. He made his starting debut later that season against Bucharest, scoring a try in the process.
Robust and combative, Dunn brings strong defensive and scrummaging skills to the pitch, as well as a huge work rate, which has earnt him a run of starts this season.
“I didn't really think twice about staying with Bath”, he said. “This is my home-town Club, and I'm immensely proud to have extended my contract.
“I'm really excited about the future at Bath, and want to play my part in taking us to the next level. I also think this is the best place for me to be to develop my skills and move forward with my career.
“The focus that the coaches give to individual development is key to that, and I'm looking forward to continuing to push for the starting shirt against the talented hookers we have in the squad at Bath.”
Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder added: “Dunny is a great player to have in the squad. He works hard, is focused on developing and being the best player he can be, and being a local guy he really cares about the Club.
“He's really impressed the other coaches and me since the start of the season with his attitude, and performances on the pitch and in training, so we're delighted that he's agreed to commit to the Club long-term.”
