Tighthead Knight joins Bath Rugby

As revealed by Neil Fissler in The Rugby Paper on Sunday, tighthead Shaun Knight has joined on loan until the end of the season.
26-year-old Knight joins from Gwent , where he made over 20 appearances in the Pro 12 last season. Prior to that, he had made nearly 80 appearances for Rugby, following in his father's footsteps in pulling on the Cherry and White shirt.
Earlier in his career, he was a member of 's Junior squad in 2009 and 2010, and experienced playing in the Southern Hemisphere with 's Counties Manukau as part of their ITM Cup squad.
First Team Coach Toby Booth, said: “Shaun is a very strong scrummager, and we're excited to see how he continues to develop now that he's with us. We've got some very good props within the squad, and Shaun adds to that strength in depth and competition for places.”
Dragons Head Coach Kingsley Jones commented: “We have several options at tighthead with Brok Harris, Craig Mitchell, Lloyd Fairbrother and emerging talent Leon Brown and this move gives Shaun, the opportunity to get some game time.”
