The Japanese full-back signed a one-year deal with the French giants last month and said he hoped to be a trailblazer for the 2019 hosts to expand their abilty.
“Until now, it may have been that was a place where (Japanese) guys longed to play,” Goromaru said.
“But by my going, I hope others will make it a goal to play there and at some point it will become a natural destination.”

With the move to the Top 14 comes an enhanced competition for places, something that Goromaru claimed his is not fazed by even with James O'Connor looking back to his best last season.
“It's a team that has assembled top players. I'll aim to take in as much as I can and become a better player,” Goromaru commented.
