Waldouck joins Falcons on trial

Former and centre Dominic Waldouck has joined on a month's trial.
The 28-year-old has been playing in the United States of America for Pro League side Ohio since April, and will shortly arrive in Newcastle with the chance to impress his way to a permanent deal.
Falcons director of rugby Dean Richards confirmed: “Dom is going to come on trial with us for a month to see how he goes.
“He is playing over in the at the moment in their new tournament, he comes to us in late July and will be with us throughout August.
Waldouck came through the academy system at Wasps as was regarded highly enough for then coach Tony Hanks to appoint the 22-year-old as deputy to captain Tom Rees. Since then, Waldouck's career has not been without a mix of success and hindrance.
Richards added: “Dom has been on the Aviva circuit for a while, six or so years ago he was going to be the next big thing but a couple of injuries have hampered his progression. He has now played two or three seasons without significant injury and seems to be back into the groove, so it could end up being an opportunity which suits both parties.”
