But forwards coach Graham Rowntree has not ruled out a recall once the 29-year-old has served his suspension.
“How can I see what is going to happen in the future?” Rowntree said..
“I have spoken to him and kept in contact with him. So I know he's fit and available if we needed to do that.
“I've worked with him for a long time, and I have a good relationship with him. The conversation was just to see how he is getting on pre-season. No more reason than that really, I keep in touch with all the players.”
