Italian international joins Newcastle Falcons

have added further international experience to their squad for next season with Italian international winger Giovanbattista Venditti joining on a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old makes the move to Kingston Park from Italian side with a reputation as a fast powerful winger who can also play in midfield.
Standing 6′ 2” and weighing just under 18st, Venditti brings with him Test experience having 27 caps for the Azzurri to his name.
His move will see him reunite with former Aironi teammate Sinoti Sinoti and current international Josh Furno when he reports for duty following 's Rugby campaign.
He said: “I'm really excited about the move and the team, it is a big experience for me and my family and I can't wait.”
“I really like this pitch and the stadium is beautiful. I'm excited to play and train somewhere like this.”
“Josh [Furno] has told me about the club and what it is like and I am really looking forward to playing here.”
Falcons Director of Rugby Dean Richards added: “Giamba is a strong player with quick feet and good hands who likes to attack space. He is also strong in contact and is going to give us plenty of options next season, with his ability to play both centre and wing.”
“He'll arrive with us after Italy conclude the World Cup campaign and we're all looking forward to working with him once he arrives.
