Trayfoot to join London Irish

As revealed by The Rugby Paper on Sunday, Joe Trayfoot will leave at the end of the season to join .
Trayfoot, 23, came through the Harlequins Academy and has made 48 appearances since making his debut in the 2010/11 season.
He said; “I am really looking to joining London Irish. I had a good conversation with the rugby committee and it is clearly a very ambitious set up heading in a really promising direction. The facilities are world class and I cannot wait to get started.”
London Irish Operations Director Bob Casey said; “Joe is one of the brightest young English talents. He is a top quality player with a great work rate who we feel can add real strength to our back row. He is an ambitious young player who wants to be part of our future.”
Harlequins Director of Rugby Conor O'Shea commented: ”It is always a pity when you see a player move on but more so someone like Joe who has come through our Academy system and has been supported by so many people.
”However it is part of the game now and players will move for many reasons. We wish Joe well and are sure he will continue to improve as a player. I also know how committed he is to finishing his Harlequins career in the manner he would want as it will always be his club.”
