Parling and Woodburn join Exeter

As revealed by Neil Fissler in The Rugby Paper on December 21, Geoff Parling will continue his career at after signing a two-year deal.
The and lock is 's first major signing ahead of next season and joins from rivals .
Signed by the Tigers in 2009 from Falcons, the 31-year-old, who has 21 Test caps, has enjoyed a stellar spell at Welford Road where he helped the East Midlands club to twice lift the Premiership title as well as featuring in all three Test matches for the Lions against in 2013.
“It's an exciting move for me and a new challenge at the Chiefs that I'm very much looking forward to,” He said.
“They have a great set-up down there and a young, enthusiastic bunch of boys who play a grand brand of rugby.
“I've spoken to one or two people about the club and the area and it's all been very positive. Of course it will be a change of scenery, but it's a new chapter in my career and one that I'm keen to take on.”
The Chiefs also announced the arrival of winger Olly Woodbury – another move revealed by Neil Fissler this time on January 11.
“I'm really looking forward to the challenge, I've only ever been at Bath as a professional so it's going to be good to have a change of scenery and test myself in a different environment,” he said.
“I've spoken to one or two players who know the club and the set-up and they all say positive things about the place and that it's quite a tight knit group down there.”
