Salesi Ma'afu has been suspended for one week by an RFU Disciplinary Panel.
The Northampton prop had been cited after receiving three yellow card already this season. He will be free to play again on January 20 but he will miss Saints' crucial Champions Cup clash at the Ospreys on Sunday.
