1. Odd Numbers
I've got a totally irrational hatred of odd numbers – to the extent that when I play on the left wing I always insist on wearing the number 14 jersey. I get mercilessly ridiculed by my team-mates, as you can probably imagine. Unfortunately, there's no avoiding this when I play full-back. At least they're thinking of making a try six points not five! I even have the volume on the TV on an even number, it's that bad!
TRP verdict: No can do I'm afraid, if only because England won the World Cup in 2003.
2. Pictures of food on Instagram
They are absolutely pointless in my opinion, especially when people take pictures of pieces of cake from a national chain like Costa Coffee. It's going to look pretty much the same the world over, isn't it?  When I go out for a meal I tend to want to eat the food rather than take a picture of it. There's nothing more cringeworthy than if you're at a really nice restaurant for a special occasion, like an anniversary, when the phone comes out and flashes.
TRP verdict: We're fans of this kind of snack-chat. You're in.
3. Christmas
For several reasons … One) for all the nonsense and hype that comes with it. Two) the fact you're in terrible shape afterwards. The National One season takes a break over the festive period so that means you're not exercising as much but eating and drinking loads more. Then, when you return to training, Mike Friday puts you through one of his two-hour ‘hard yakka' sessions. It was absolutely brutal this year. Three) You have loads of unwanted stuff cluttering up the house. At my own request nobody bought me anything this year!
TRP verdict: Sorry, when it comes to choices this falls into the turkey category.
