Dream Team: Adam Powell – Newcastle and former Saracens centre

Adam Powell1. Deon Carstens – I played with the former Test prop at and aside from being a very good loosehead he was a good guy.
2. Schalk Brits – The best hooker in the for the past couple of years. An unbelievable player who would be awesome in and I'd love to see him at the Olympics.
3. John Smit – Not as good a tighthead as he was a hooker but what a player he was. Very humble despite what he's achieved in the game and what he did with Jamie George only proves that.
4. Steve Borthwick – Held everyone together at Saracens for many years. A lineout master who had a sensational career between the record Premiership appearances and the 57 caps.
5. Hugh Vyvyan – Another who played well over 200 Premiership games in his time at and Saracens. An unsung hero and a great bloke too.
6. Richard Hill – I was lucky to play with him for the last two years of his career. A true rugby legend who was the best in the world in his prime.
7. Jacques Burger – Relatively unknown before he joined Sarries but it's fair to say it's not the case anymore. Some of his performances last season were incredible.
8. Sebastien Chabal – He was in his prime at when I first came on the scene. He was a nightmare to play against especially as he loved running at you in midfield.
9. Neil de Kock – The best scrum-half in the Premiership since I started playing. He can do it all whether that's kicking, passing, running or tackling. He's still going strong at 36 and I reckon he's got another two seasons in him.
10. Glen Jackson – He taught me a lot when I was younger. One of the best players not to get capped. A top referee now but he could have been a great coach too.
11. Sinoti Sinoti – I played alongside him last season and all I thought about when I got the ball was to give it to him as quickly as I could and let him get the job done. Opposition players were petrified.
12. Brad Barritt – A tough guy who performs every week. Very good defender and very happy he's made the England squad.
13. Kevin Sorrell – Another one who taught me a lot when I came through the ranks. We played a lot together and he's helped me on and off the pitch.
14. Richard Haughton – A try scoring machine who should have been recognised more by England. People thought he wasn't good in defence because he was skinny but he was really good.
15. Alex Goode – The best player I've played with. A brilliant ball player who loves to get involved as second receiver. Can make things happen.
