Dream Team: Darren Barry – Worcester and former Cornish Pirates & Bristol lock

Darren Barry1. A big, strong and physical prop who has the skills of a back. He's very humble and works very hard. We played together at before he moved to bigger things.
2. Dave Ward – I didn't play with him at the Pirates but I faced him in a British & Irish Cup game with Bristol. He came on at half-time and scored a hat-trick. The best hooker over the ball.
3. Alan Paver – Not the biggest but technically he is great at the scrum and loves everything about it. Always gives 100 per cent whether that's at training or on game day.
4. Mariano Sambucetti – Very quiet off the pitch but he turns into an animal on it. Loves being physical and works himself into the ground.
5. Roy Winters – The other second row when I was at Bristol. The ultimate professional who helped me develop a lot when I was coming through the academy. Like Mariano he's a nice guy but a beast on the field.
6. Chris Morgan – The Pirates captain is not worried about touching the ball during a game. He just loves hitting people and getting his head in the rucks.
7. Sam Betty – I'm looking forward to play with him at rather than having to play against him. A brick wall in defence and throws his body into everything. I'm not looking forward to our first contact session, though.
8. Mitch Eadie – Can pretty much do everything on the pitch. A real honest player who work his nuts off every week.
9. Tom Kessell – A really good friend of mine and, although I wasn't the recipient of many, he has the best pass I've ever seen.
10. Matthew Morgan – Pretty much untouchable in the . You think you've caught him and all of a sudden he sidesteps and you're nowhere near him. Really good distribution to put other players in space, too.
11. David Lemi – He was at Bristol when I was in the academy and I've seen some incredible things at training. A very humble and classy player who's still got it.
12. Junior Fatialofa – Got to play with him at both Bristol and the Pirates and he is the player you expect to create something out of nothing. Great skills and also loves a big hit.
13. Tom Riley – He can look quite unassuming but he reads the game better than anyone and he's always at the right place at the right time.
14. Matt Evans – The Canada international throws himself into everything and anything. Very experienced and calming force on the back three.
15. Paul Jarvis – Great under the high ball and a pretty physical full-back who's not afraid to drop a shoulder into you.
