We’ll get Alex Cuthbert firing again says Danny Wilson

Cardiff Blues coach Danny Wilson will rally behind Alex Cuthbert to get the Wales juggernaut rolling again.
The British Lion's desperate spell came to a head when his decision to double-up on Duane Vermeulen gave Fourie du Preez the space to sink Wales's World Cup bid.
A volley of social media abuse followed the final whistle after the 23-19 loss but Wilson is ready to build Cuthbert back up to the wing giant he once was.
He told TRP: “The abuse he got is really disappointing, I believe Alex Cuthbert is a quality rugby player and he is one or two big games away from being back to that standard.
“The task of the coach as a man-manager is to recognise what a player needs and try to provide it.
“We will all get behind him and encourage him to put in the performances he has shown in the past – and will show in the future. I'm hoping he comes back with the bit between his teeth to prove people wrong.”
Wilson might be in for a shock if he expects Cuthbert to come back firing, after the winger made it clear his future lies elsewhere when he turned down the Welsh Rugby Union's offer of a dual contract.
His current deal runs out in the summer with the Blues battling to keep him at the Arms Park.
It is unclear where his destination would be, but Wilson, who took over in the summer, is desperate to show Cuthbert that it is worth sticking around.
He said: “We at the Blues have a small percentage of world class rugby players and Alex is one of them.
“So, we want world class rugby players here, performing for the Blues and having that solid link to Wales.”
Blues' utility back Gareth Anscombe has been ruled out for at least two months with an ankle injury. Anscombe, 24, will have surgery after sustaining the injury during Wales' World Cup quarter-final defeat to South Africa.
“Depending on the severity it'll probably be the other side of Christmas but I can't confirm that yet,” said Wilson.
